2025 Replays and Thank You's....

As we plow our way into 2026, it felt like the right moment to pause and share some numbers from the past year.

Pulled from Apple Music & Spotify, these stats reflect your time spent listening to The Behaviour over the last 12 months. Every play, every save, every share matters more than you know. I’m genuinely grateful for all of it—thank you for the continued support and interest in this project. It does not go unnoticed. 🖤

I also want to give deep, personal thanks to my incredibly talented and beautiful artistic partner, best friend, unwavering supporter, and love of my life Wendy Anne—for being there through everything, and for helping in more ways than I could ever fully articulate.🖤

To my family—especially my sister, father, aunts, and extended family—thank you for helping me survive this past year after the untimely and unexpected passing of my mother. To my friends, near and far: thank you for the encouragement, the honesty, and the grounding presence—whether things were rough or magical.🙏

Endless thanks as well to the entire team who helped shape and bring the new EP into the world:

The Time is Approaching....PEDESTALS Arrives Nov. 21st

The new five-song EP, PEDESTALS, finally arrives November 21st, 2025, on Rexius Records.

Pre-Save Link is available here.

The Behaviour’s PEDESTALS is a study in weight and glow—fuzz-drenched guitars, spectral harmonies, and analog warmth shaped into songs that move like late-night weather. Led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Marshall Kilpatric, the EP centers on “Dark, Not Quiet,” a slow-burn release where reverb-soaked tension gives way to a clear, melodic reckoning.

Across the record, Kilpatric threads shoegaze drift with modern blues grit. “MK Ultra” leans into riff-driven momentum and psychic glare; “Phantom Hands” lifts into widescreen melody; and “Invisible Sun” reframes a classic with dusky neo-psych atmosphere. It’s guitar music with a hypnotic pulse—textured, saturated, and unafraid of space. The collection is rounded out by the darkly hypnotic track, “The Reckoning”, leaving the listener wanting to hear more.

Kilpatric, known for work with The Esoteric and credits entwined with Today Is the Day and Black Light Burns, takes full creative command here—drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals—with the performances tracked at Quaternal Studios in Massachusetts. The mixes by Paul Malinowski(with Eric Graves on “MK Ultra”) and mastering by Mike Nolte lend depth and heft without sanding off the edges; the noise breathes, the room stays in the frame.

Lyrically, PEDESTALS explores proximity and perception—things felt just out of reach, then suddenly close: “The things you see are closer than they appear.” It’s a thread that runs through the writing and the production: distortion as veil, melody as signal, volume as a way of telling the truth.

Collecting The Behaviour’s three 2025 singles and introducing new work, PEDESTALS marks a focused evolution—less about genre boundaries, more about emotional clarity inside heavy, immersive sound. Played loud, it lands where darkness meets definition.

The Behaviour's Latest Single, "Invisible Sun", is Out Now!

The latest single, “Invisible Sun”, is out now across all streaming platforms. This is the final single ahead of the new EP, PEDESTALS, arriving November 21st, 2025.

Streaming Links are available here and on the Music page.

Speaking about the decision to cover this song, Marshall Kilpatric has stated:

“I chose to cover this song by The Police as its messages are just as relevant today as when it was written in the early 1980’s. It is also a very unique and phenomenal song, one of my favourites by them. I thought it would easily suit The Behaviour for a great deconstruction. As such, its structure, cadence, rhythm, and melodies all fall well within The Behaviour’s general wheelhouse. There are some things about it that speak very personally to me, but I hoped to breathe new life into it so that any audience who may not be familiar with the original can rediscover it.”

The Behaviour's Latest Single, "Invisible Sun", releasing Oct. 17th!

Coming October 17th, The Behaviour will be releasing the final single, “Invisible Sun”, ahead of the five-song EP, PEDESTALS, arriving November 21st, 2025. This is a de/reconstruction of the classic song by the legendary band The Police, reimagined for current times; as it is just as relevant today as when it was originally written.

Pre-Save link available here.

On Invisible Sun,” The Behaviour transforms The Police’s classic into a neo-psychedelic/alternative rock immersion: reverb-drenched guitars, a hypnotic low-end throb, and Marshall Kilpatric’s spectral vocal carrying a hard-won calm. The arrangement leans into analog warmth and live dynamics—less airbrushed, more alive—evoking the cinematic pull of late-night drives and shoegaze-tinted horizons.

Recorded and produced by Marshall Kilpatric at Quaternal Studios (Sturbridge, MA), mixed by Paul Malinowski of Shiner at Massive Sound (Shawnee, KS), and mastered by Mike Nolte at Eureka Mastering (Portland, OR), the track honors the song’s resilient spirit while placing it squarely in today’s alt-rock/neo-psych landscape. Swelling feedback, cavernous reverbs, and fuzz-rich textures frame the performance, guided by The Behaviour’s ethos of authenticity—no programming or autotune, just hands-on, human energy.

The result is a faithful re-centering rather than a museum piece: a modern, reverb-soaked “Invisible Sun” that speaks to listeners drawn to Spiritualized, Slowdive, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and adjacent underground currents. It’s the third and final single in the run-up to the PEDESTALS EP, opening a darker, more reflective corridor in The Behaviour’s evolving universe.
